New News Story

Identity collaboration project

Our year 7 art club and year 9 Art students at Henley Bank High School have been busy producing some self-portrait and identity postcards to be included in a worldwide collaboration exhibition that is due to be shown at the Gatton Hall at Royal Alexandra and Albert school in Surrey. The project involved students producing a postcard showing their own identity which was then posted off to a partner school and swapping their creations with students they’ve never met. Our partner school is the Three Rivers academy in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Schools from Devon, Leeds, Sheffield, Surrey and as far as Gympie (in Australia) and Bangkok are involved. As soon as we have confirmation of the exhibition date, due to be held in February, we will let you know.
