Key Dates

Thursday 20th August 2026: Results Day

This is when places in our Sixth Form will be confirmed. We will use Applicaa for the enrolment process, so please check this regularly over the summer.

  • For internal applicants:
    Please collect your results as usual and then confirm your place with our Sixth Form team, who will be available to provide support and answer any questions.

  • For external applicants:
    Please visit the school between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM to confirm your place, or email a copy of your GCSE results to sixthform@henleybankhighschool.co.uk on Results Day.
    The school will also be open on Friday 22nd August from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Thursday 3rd September: Start of term

 Start of term for Year 12. Students will begin their timetabled lessons and have opportunities to meet their teachers and classmates as they settle into Sixth Form life.

Friday 4th September: Year 12 Trip to Cardiff University

This visit offers students insight into university life and helps with planning next steps.

Monday 7th September: Year 12 Parents’ Information Evening (4:00pm – 6:30pm)

A great opportunity for parents to meet staff, learn about the curriculum, and discuss how we support students throughout their Sixth Form journey.
